Who this is for
Maui specialty shops that still knock — roof, solar/PV, HVAC, remodel. One closed add/alt or PV job pays years of the subscription. Not a weekly Honolulu list, and not a cold-call sheet for shops already on the permit.
Solar / PV (C-13, C-60/61)
New arrays, fire-rebuild PV, and reroofs that open a pitch window. Skip a named electrician already on a rack.
HVAC (C-52)
Alterations and new dwellings where mechanical is often still open. May–June had no HVAC keyword in the county description — we still keep add/alts because the trade is frequently unlisted.
Remodel / add-alt
Owner-builder additions and alterations. Ask what is not in the GC bid. This is the best book in the current file.
Owner-builder first
Filter for OWNER BUILDER. Subs are often still open on dwellings and add/alts, including some 2023-fire Lahaina rebuilds.
Not for
Pitching Surface Shield or Commercial Roofing as cold leads. Enterprise bid boards. Anyone who needs homeowner phone numbers. We do not sell those.

Honest limitation: this is not weekly Honolulu — the City bulk file froze 1 Jul 2025. Hawaiʻi County is not in v1 (Laserfiche wants cookies). Many Maui permits already name a builder. Those rows can still flag complementary trades. The easy knock is owner-builder. Do not pitch named specialty incumbents as if the owner still needs that trade.

- Where does the data come from?
- Official County of Maui Development Services Administration monthly Building Permits Detail PDFs. Latest posted month in this file is June 2026 (county run date 8 Jul 2026); May 2026 is included because it is the fatter specialty month. July and August 2026 PDFs were not posted as of 26 Aug 2026 HST.
- Do you have homeowner phone numbers or emails?
- No. You get address, TMK, description, valuation, builder of record, and a trade guess. You do the outreach. We are not collecting a marketing waitlist.
- The permit already has a builder. Why pay?
- Because complementary work is real: a new array is a roof conversation; a reroof is a PV window; an owner-builder add/alt is every trade. Filter for OWNER BUILDER when you want the unclaimed jobs. Do not cold-call Surface Shield or Commercial Roofing on the giant May reroofs — those are market intel, not leads.
- Is this weekly Honolulu? Neighbor islands?
- No. Honolulu’s open-data bulk file froze 1 Jul 2025 after HNL Build launched; that is not this product. Hawaiʻi County permit extracts sit behind Laserfiche (cookies / sign-in) and are not in v1. Coverage is County of Maui only (Maui / Molokai / Lānaʻi).
- Is this legal advice or a county product?
- Neither. Public-record compilation. Permit status changes. Verify on MAPPS and confirm you are licensed for the work before you bid or knock.
- How do I cancel?
